Building Credibility and Winning Web Site Traffic Through Article Marketing

Friday, September 25th, 2009
Article Marketing is a powerful resource that can and should be added to your arsenal in order to build credibility and winning web site traffic.
Article marketing takes advantage of the fact that people “surfing” the internet are on a “mission”.  That mission is to find a source for some want or need, to find a solution to a problem, to answer some “nagging question” or just to discover an interesting (or even useful) “tid-bit” of information that they can pass along to their peers and grow their own personal stature.
Often there are no easy answers to where your reader’s (and, less we forget, potential customers) find their particular want or need.  Never the less, helping your readers to find solutions to their particular problem, answering their difficult questions or helping them to learn new and interesting things with which to impress their friends and cohorts, will go along way towards building your credibility and earning the respect of your readers.
You need to keep in mind; the fact that, you the marketer, are on the opposite end of the spectrum.  Your goal is to gain the reader’s (and potential customers) trust and respect, in order to in the end, – earn the sale.  Your reader, however, is only looking to improve their life in some way; however significant or insignificant that may be.  The better you can service your potential customer by answering their “unique” concern the closer you will be to turning your “potential” customer into a “real” customer.
Your mission as an article marketer is to provide your readers with valuable information that in some way will allow you to develop “a following” of avid readers who trust in your ability to service them with quality article content in each and every article.  In so doing, you are working your way towards building an ever increasing flow of web site traffic.

Exploiting Blogging’s Link Building Success

Sunday, August 16th, 2009

Today, everywhere you look on the Internet you discover examples of people exploiting blogging’s link building success to growing their own Internet Marketing “fortunes”.

Few could have conceived that in the space 10-15 years that blogging would grow to become the major force that it now represents.

Technorati (a search engine dedicated to blogs) posts over 1.5 million blogs per day and indexes a total of more than 112 million blogs.

Truly, blogging has “arrived”; and in recognition of that fact Internet Marketers in general, and affiliate marketers specifically, are scrambling to utilize blogging to advance their particular cause.

Blogging succeeds as a “link builder” by: linking “directly” other closely related blogs to your website, linking from “your” blog to “your” website and by linking “indirectly” other blogs (through your blog) to your website.

By being “short and sweet” (no more than 250 words) and following a repetitive pattern of consistency (be it – daily, weekly, or by-weekly), and making sure your blog has quality content – a successful blog can attract “tons” of traffic.

The higher the site ranking of the site you link too, the better your will score will be with the search engines (unless, the outgoing links from the site you link too, significantly weaken the site value).

Keep these ideas on mind and you well do well to advance your success in the field of Internet Marketing.
